AND DAVID; FOR HIS LIFE

... BECAUSE OF WHOSE HE IS..

BECAUSE OF THE ANOINTING OF THE LORD

UPON HIS LIFE...  AND BECAUSE SAUL

WAS JEALOUS OF HIM...

 

THESE THREE SAINTS OF OLD

HAD GREAT PAIN OF HEART...

AND EVEN GREAT PAIN OF FLESH..

EACH TRIAL AND SUFFERING UNIQUE...

TO THE INDIVIDUAL BEARER THEREOF.

 

BUT GREAT NEWS.....

THEIR TRIALS CAME TO AN END

.... AND THEY EXPERIENCED A NEW BEGINNING...

HENCE OUR TRIALS DO NOT ALWAYS END

IN OUR DEATH...

ALTHOUGH DEATH IS AN END TO ALL THINGS

OF THIS WORLD.

 

EVEN SO CONSIDER  A DEATH TO WHAT WAS...

AND A NEW BEGINNING IS GIVEN US...

BY THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY....AGAIN FOR THIS

WE CAN LOOK AT THE SAINTS OF OLD...

 

FOR JOB... HIS SUFFERING ENDED...

HE FINISHED WELL..

he did not do what satan desired ;

he did not curse GOD and die.

HENCE JOB WAS BLESSED WITH GREATER 

THAN ALL HE HAD LOST..

WE KNOW SAUL WAS SEEKING DAVID'S LIFE..

BUT DAVID DID NOT TAKE THAT OPPORTUNE MOMENT

TO KILL SAUL.. INSTEAD HE TOLD SAUL; 

I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU... BUT I DID NOT..

AND LOOK HERE IN MY HAND

IS THE CORNER OF YOUR ROBE..

. I CUT IT OFF.. I WAS RIGHT THERE..

AND I DID NOT KILL YOU.

DAVID WOULD NOT KILL GODS ANOINTED...

EVEN AS DAVID WAS NEVER FREE FROM SAUL...

UNTIL SAUL DIED. and to his credit ...

DAVID didn’t jump up and down and shout for joy...

instead he GRIEVED OVER SAUL'S DEATH.

THAT GIVES US A GLIMPSE INTO DAVID'S HEART..

AND FROM THE FIRST MOMENT HIS PRAYERS

REACHED GOD..

 AND GOD DID RELEASE HIS ANSWER..EVEN SO

THE ANGEL MICHAEL  SAID; I WAS DETAINED..

BY THE PRINCE OF PERSIA ... 21 DAYS.

the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

mmutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

18 That by two immutable things,

in which it was impossible for God to lie,

we might have a strong consolation,

who have fled for refuge to lay hold

upon the hope set before us:

19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul,

both sure and stedfast,

and which entereth into that within the veil;

20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered,

even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after
