Sin... WILL YOU SIN AFTER YOUR SAVED?

Have you met anyone that has not sinned since they were saved? If so perhaps they are only hours, days or weeks old in their salvation and its possible. However considering months to years into ones Salvation, we must declare it is not humanly possible for any Saved to proclaim they have never sinned since their salvation in the Lord Jesus*.

This post is not to advocate sin but to show you how you will grow in Jesus Christ after your soul salvation and that when you sin or fall short of the Glory of God their is a price to pay in the Lord. The Lord will reprimand you, chastise you that you may see and know you are being watched, you are not going to get away with it and that the Lord your God is indeed with you.

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Saved filled with the Holy Spirit you are called the sons of God and you will be reared up in the Lord.

Are you perfect upon Soul Salvation? No, nor are you an instant scholar of the Word of God.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.

As we can see we are to study the Word that we show our selves approved unto the Lord.

Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.

We are to strive to be Holy as God is Holy... The Holy Spirit within us is Gods righteousness imputed to us / in us via Soul Salvation..Its not by our righteousness we are made Holy, but by the Spirit of the Lord within us we are made Holy...

Romans 4 shows us we are imputed with Gods righteousness [not by our righteousness, not by our works];

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word...
- we are cleansed by the washing of the water ...thats the Holy Spirit
by the Word... thats Jesus* and then we are counted as one with God in the Body of Christ.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father,
keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

GROWING UP IN JESUS can be likened to any child growing up. It cant walk at first then it walks and falls, it cries for all the wrong and or right reasons, its got a lot to learn and a lot of maturing to do before its considered a young adult and then onward to become a senior citizen. Likewise Saved we are but babes in Christ that must grow through experiences and time... through fire will we be tried for our faithfulness in Christ since our betrothal to Him and that our faith in Christ be increased.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

What happens when a Christian sins against God... does he get away with it? For the wages of sin is death still applies.. consider death comes in many ways. When Adam and Eve were forbidden fruit from a particular tree in the Garden of Eden... they were fairly warned, they will surely die..

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

They did eat and did not die as we imagine one to die. But they did die to sin and sin brought a death of curse upon them,(the Fall of Man). No more Garden of Eden, no more splendor of beauty, no more simple cushy easy life. No!and both receive a curse. Adam's curse is contained in Gen. 3.17-19: "Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field: In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return"

They were kicked out of the Garden, man cursed to work by the sweet of his brawl;
here we can imagine Adam was forced to work hard for his food for the first time and Eve experienced child birth is laboriously painful.
So we can see death comes in many forms does it not?

Adultery for example can usher in death of a marriage, loss of home and family, loss of job, loss of health via sexually transmitted disease, loss of reputation and what not. We can see death comes in many ways. Sin comes with a price to pay when you walk with Jesus. Will God forgive you? Yes He will forgive a repentive grievous heart for the road they have taken. However the price to be paid is still hovering over ones head. Payment due may be likened to going over the speed limit in your auto and wrecking into another auto, perhaps causing injury to another . your are indeed very sorry...yet you still must face what you have done.. you have to live with your actions and the following consequences.

What we do after salvation can and will touch many others in their walk in life regardless if we realize it early on or not. Jesus knows all; God's Omnipresence and Omniscience is beautifully portrayed in Psalm 139 as it tells us there is no place we can be that is not within Gods view or knowing.

When if you fall into sin [it does not matter if its premeditated or spontaneous] you will get burned, hence you will grow in Jesus* Does God cast His children away because they have sinned? NO! Here must consider is the child really a child of God to begin with or an impostor...

Every one in the fold of God .. again I emphasize those "truly filled with the Holy Spirit of God" will indeed repent for they have grieved the Holy Spirit within them as David of the Bible portrays what it is to grieve the Holy Spirit; we recall he had sinned with Bathsheba and went on to orchestrate the death of her husband that he may cover up what he had done, hence he made Bathsheba his wife.

We can first note David wanted to cover up his sins against God. Its instinct to want to get away with it... to escape what we have done falling short of the Glory of God. Here we can reflect on a child doing something his or her father had asked him or her not to do but they went and did it anyway, next they want to not get away with it, they want to escape the consequences; thats the flesh. Flesh and blood is made of corruption [1 Corinthians 15:50].
Again Gods children grow up in Him. We can know David grieved through many Psalms crying:

Psalm 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

He had grieved the Holy Spirit and it felt as the Holy Spirit had left him, he cried for God to restore unto him joy not his salvation.
He no longer felt the joy of the Holy Spirit within him, the knowing of the presence of the Holy Spirit within him was missing.
David knew what it was to grieve the Holy Spirit.

Can you relate to this grief since your salvation?
Have you done something to grieve the Holy Spirit within you that your bright sunny days turned dark, cold and gray?
I could not write that dark, cold and gray lest I knew it myself; I know it because I have grieved the Holy Spirit within me since my soul salvation. Was I still saved? Yes!
[I was but being punished, being shown you are a Child of God you will not get away with this or that]
I can tell you I missed Gods Holy Spirit within me, I missed the joy and hope in the Lord.
I had no songs to sing... grief overwhelmed my soul. I cried for Jesus* to forgive me a very long time... and in His good time.. when He felt I had repented and grieved enough... one joyous day I felt the presence again of the Holy Spirit within me.. Praise Jesus*... Praise the Father and the precious Holy Spirit.

Did I still have a price to pay? You betcha.... and I did pay dearly... for a very long, long horrible ugly time. So you see I did not loose my Salvation, instead I was Chastised because Saved; I'm a child of God, a son of God [sexless to God, for He is the reader of hearts].

Do any truly saved desire to grieve the Holy Spirit and avoid Gods will for our lives? NO! We are in a battle ground of spiritual warfare, the greater our walk in Jesus* the greater our VICTORIES IN JESUS*

I pray you have a better understanding that Saved you will grow up in Jesus* Like any child you will fall and have your short comings but oh for the adulthood in the Lord we pray... Oh how we look forward to a young cub becoming an adult lion in the Lord Jesus* Does this mean an old lion in the Lord will not sin? No... its still possible but its hopefully more difficult to trip up an old lion in the Lord... even so we will be growing in Jesus for all eternity, as none of us will ever aspire to be God. Amen We are to long to aspire to the greater gifts of the Holy Spirit and be all we can be in Jesus* that when we are judged before Him we are not ashamed of our lives lived in Him. We want to know we did all we could in the name of Jesus*

Have hope, the greater our years in the Lord Jesus the greater our growth in Jesus* Its the work of God; He rears us up in Him.
Jesus has given us the comforter; the Holy Spirit within you is your greatest and closest friend; he will lead you in the paths of righteousness in Jesus name sake, hence we will strive to be Holy as God is Holy.

Truly Saved; God will not loose one. Saved - inscribe John 6:37-40 in your heart;
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

To what extreme may the Lord go to subdue you and bring you into the Kingdom?
Matthew 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Saved - if you cannot subdue yourself; He will do it for you.
We will learn one way or another and Jesus will bring you into His Kingdom one way or another...

Again I can reflect on my own past walk in the Lord and proclaim; I have sustained bodily injury for disobeying the Lord.
I have my scars my memory and recollection is clear; its been said hind sight is 20/20 ... its true. We may not often see the forest for the trees but once out of the woods we can see God was right there to chastise us and get us back in line. Amen
Jesus* is the Good Shepherd not the so so shepherd.

Whats the bottom line here? Saved ... TRULY SAVED... not the mental ascent [ ;those that believe mentally and never surrendered their hearts to Jesus*] You may fall but through your failures will come some of your greatest lessons learned in Jesus* your precious Savior, your God, your Lord and Master.

Finally no man comes unto father but through the Son...John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me...

John 3:3 ; Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED!

You can invite Jesus into your heart today and be SAVED... when your mind and heart are in accord with one another, in faith believing invite Jesus to be your Savior, admittedly repent of your sins before Him. Speak it out in truth and the Living God will indeed hear your earnest hearts desire.

Jesus died for you... isn't it time you to begin living in Him and for Him?
Please recall; Time is promised to none... as you may ponder another day.

Be Blessed in Jesus* Christ as you grow onward in Him. Don't loose faith or hope, our trust is in the one true God our Holy Trinity.
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - God in three persons our Blessed Trinity.. Amen
